Updated Red Robin Nutritional Information HERE!
FINALLY Red Robin has made their nutritional information available on their site. And they have actually have posted the whole menu, you can even customize your order – well done Red Robin! Not like that time Quizno’s posted their nutritional information and only posted 3 items off the menu (boooo) – least they have the whole thing now too.

I don’t go to Red Robin often as we don’t have one close by – but we do go every time we head over to Vancouver for a hockey game (went on the weekend! haha) so it is nice to actually see what I am eating. I wish more restaurants would make nutritional information available, especially large chains!
So let’s see how many calories are in some of the Red Robin menu items.
5 Alarm Burger – 907 calories, 58 grams of fat, 49 grams of carbs, 46 grams of protein
Red Robin Bacon Cheeseburger – 1030 calories, 70 grams of fat, 47 grams of carbs, 52 grams of protein
Royal Red Robin Burger – 1178 calories, 82 grams of fat, 48 grams of carbs, 60 grams of protein
Whiskey River BBQ Burger – 1167 calories, 72 grams of fat, 77 grams of carbs, 49 grams of protein
WOW – things are not looking so great here. Maybe a chicken burger would be a better option.
Blackened Chicken Burger – 791 calories, 48 grams of fat, 49 grams of carbs, 45 grams of protein
Crispy Chicken Burger – 929 calories, 56 grams of fat, 71 grams of carbs, 37 grams of protein
Chicken burgers a bit better I supposed. But what about those super good never ending Red Robin fries?
Red Robin Steak Fries – 390 calories, 17 grams of fat, 53 grams of carbs, 6 grams of protein
(okay I guess, just don’t get them refilled!)
And the ever famous towering onion rings?
Red Robin Towering Onion Rings – 1837 calories, 124 grams of fat, 160 grams of carbs, 18 grams of protein
OMG! WTF!!!! Almost 2000 calories for onion rings? At least most people share these! But even split between three people (maybe 3 onion rings each?) it is still over 600 calories! WOW! never again.
So what are some things on this menu for less then 1000 calories? There sure doesn’t seem to be a whole lot! (unless of you eat one of the healthier burgers with no fries – but those fries are so good, it is hard to say no!)
Ensenada Chicken Platter – 663 calories, 34 grams of fat, 23 grams of carbs, 65 grams of protein
Apple Harvest Chicken Salad – 702 calories, 43 grams of fat, 45 grams of carbs, 35 grams of protein
Asian Chicken Salad – 862 calories, 24 grams of fat, 104 grams of carbs, 49 grams of protein
French Onion Soup Bowl – 561 calories, 18 grams of fat, 54 grams of carbs, 22 grams of protein
I am happy that Red Robin has finally posted their nutritional information, one down side is that it is hard to go through the menu and compare items, you can only look at one menu item at a time. And when you add a side you see the combined information, not just the information of the side (what a PITA!!!). It would be nice if you could see a bit list of everything to compare – with some work (okay a lot of work) you could make you own I guess. I guess they don’t what you to see that some of their salads have more calories then the burgers!!!! Hello Crispy Chicken Salad at over 1300 calories!!!!!!!!!!
This is just a sampling of the menu and the items that I clicked on, there was no way I was going to go through the entire menu! So check it out and plan ahead http://www.redrobin.com/home/customizer.aspx – maybe if enough of us provide some feedback we can convince Red Robin them to provide an easier way to compare the foods rather then writing it all down.
